Procurement Manager - $110,000 to $140,000

We are currently recruiting for a great client to bring on a Procurement Manager. This client is positioned to experience significant growth over the next 5 years and now is the perfect time to join.

This role is responsible for managing a team of buyers, developing supplier relationships, ensuring material availability, and driving continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of procurement professionals.
  • Develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies to support production and business objectives.
  • Oversee supplier performance, strategic sourcing initiatives, and supplier development efforts.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers.
  • Partner with Production, Planning, and Program Management teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Support proposal material costing and new business opportunities.
  • Drive improvements in inventory management, materials planning, scheduling, and supply chain processes.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve performance goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 7+ years of experience leading purchasing, procurement, or supply chain teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier management, strategic sourcing, materials planning, and inventory control.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Defense, aerospace, or military manufacturing experience preferred.
