• 24-Hour In-House Shifts
• Daytime NICU Coverage: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM

• Patient Population: 100% Pediatric / Neonatal
• Level III NICU
• Approximately 1-3 Admissions While On Call
• Full Range of Level III NICU Patients
• Prematurity and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
• Gestational Age 22+ Weeks

• Provide 24-Hour In-House Neonatology Coverage
• Perform Daily NICU Rounds
• Provide Ongoing Care and Management of NICU Patients
• Provide Delivery Room Coverage
• Provide Prenatal Consultations as Needed
• Support Neonatal Transport Services
• Manage Premature and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
• Manage Pediatric General Surgery Cases
• Provide High-Frequency Ventilation Including HFOV and HFJV
• Provide Therapeutic Hypothermia
• Provide Routine and Advanced NICU Care
• Nighttime Coverage at the Lititz Location Is Solo

• Endotracheal Intubation
• Umbilical Line Placement
• Chest Tube Placement
• Neonatal Resuscitation
• Routine NICU Procedures
• High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
• High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV)
• Therapeutic Hypothermia

• Daytime Coverage Team Includes Neonatologists and Neonatal APPs
• Nighttime Coverage at the Lititz Location Is Solo
• Provider Must Be Comfortable Working Independently During Solo Coverage

• Board Certified
