Linden Hall is seeking a full-time School Counselor. The ideal candidate is a personable, organized mental health professional who can manage and coordinate the School’s mental health services program based on requirements established by school policies, procedures and protocols, and by local, state and national regulations and statutes, as well as maintain and operate the school clinic. We welcome engaging applicants who are interested in working with both middle and upper school girls.
Join our dynamic educational team as a School Counselor, where you will play a vital role in fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Ability to assess mental health needs; possess knowledge of mental health disorders/challenges, developmental delays/concerns; ability to assess emergency mental health situations and act accordingly; ability to coordinate care with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the care/treatment of students; comfortable knowledge of universal mental health procedures and ability to teach this to others; good oral and written communication skills; familiarity with online medical records systems, basic computer skills.
