Linden Hall School for Girls is seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Aid to assist our institution’s efforts in attracting, recruiting, and enrolling a diverse and talented student body. This energetic candidate will collaborate with the Director of Enrollment to develop innovative outreach strategies, and foster strong relationships with prospective students, families, and high school counselors.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, exceptional public speaking skills, and experience working within educational settings to drive enrollment growth and uphold our institution’s mission of academic excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our student community while collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless admissions process.

Responsibilities
  • Consistent, responsive engagement with constituents including inquiry calls and email, interviews, on-campus and off-campus events and visits, and recruitment travel. Travel is required and makes up approx. 25% of the position.
  • Professionally represent Linden Hall at school fairs, presentations, receptions, and conferences; travel responsibilities may include 3-6 weeks in the fall and 2-4 weeks in the spring, and occasional evening/weekend work is required of all admissions staff.
  • Coordinate the Parent and Student Ambassador Program: training, oversight, scheduling, and evaluation, as well as strategic planning for future years.
  • Oversee event planning and management for on-campus and off-campus admission events.
  • Participate in the completion and evaluation of admission application and financial aid materials.
  • Maintain international student visas as Linden Hall’s PDSO.
  • Interview all applicants as part of their application process.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management and Director of Marketing and Communications to develop, execute, and evaluate the office’s recruitment and retention plans.
  • Actively participate in the Linden Hall community and support student and faculty events throughout the year.
  • Manage and analyze data in conjunction with the Director of Enrollment Management.
  • Utilize data to develop new markets and reporting tools.
  • Support annual updating and reporting to various school associations.
  • Actively participate in four weekends of dorm duty per year.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Valid US driver’s license required.
  • 1-2 years related or transferable experience in K-12 or College Admissions preferred; background as a college tour guide or related role is considered relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating on Marketing and Enrollment initiatives that support student recruitment and brand awareness.
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining long-term relationships with feeder schools, educational consultants, and families to support recruitment and enrollment goals.
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with admission and financial aid systems, such as Blackbaud, Finalsite, the Standard Application Online and SSS preferred.
  • Requires high integrity in dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to be flexible.
