Lead Preschool Teacher

Lititz Christian School is a family environment where our teachers and staff are valued, cared for, and equipped to teach the children in our care. Our summer camp and before-and-after-school program provides care for children in the Donegal School District. This unique role will give the applicant skills and opportunity to grow in leadership, administration, and the education field.

• Work directly with the director to lead the preschool class of 10 or fewer students.
• Write lesson plans that align with PA standards, and communicate with parents via face-to-face, email, and Brightwheel software application.
• Collaborate with the Early Learning Center team, offering oversight, ideas, and creativity.
• Work with the assistant teacher to meet daily needs of students.
• Assist in creating a strong sense of community among staff and children.
• Attend all required staff trainings and meetings.
• Work Monday-Friday.

• High energy, engaging, and team player.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, ideally 2 years of experience.
• Successfully pass all background checks, including fingerprint and reference checks.
• Ability to interact with children and the school-age team, give direction and vision when needed.
• Minimum of 2500 hours of childcare experience or equivalent education courses completed.
• Engaging, upbeat, and warm personality.
