Part-Time Program Instructor
Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with kids? Snapology of Lancaster is looking for a Part-Time Program Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on programs that inspire children to build, create, collaborate, and solve problems.
This is a great opportunity for college students, education majors, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, homeschool parents, retirees, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work with a consistent weekly schedule.

ScheduleApproximately 10–15 hours per week over four afternoons/evenings. Typical working hours fall between 2:30 PM and 8:30 PM, with most shifts occurring between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
A consistent weekly schedule will be established, with minor adjustments possible based on program enrollment, seasonal programming, and special events.
Enjoy a consistent weekly schedule with opportunities to earn additional hours through field trips, birthday parties, camps, Saturday programs, and special events.
What You'll Do- Lead Engaging Programs:
Teach fun, hands-on STEM/STEAM enrichment classes using Snapology's provided curriculum, LEGO® Bricks, robotics, and other interactive learning tools. No lesson planning required—we provide the curriculum, training, and materials you need to be successful. - Inspire Young Builders:
Create a positive, inclusive environment where children build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning. - Facilitate Memorable Experiences:
Lead after-school programs at the Snapology center and local schools, adapting your instruction to engage children ages 4–14 while ensuring every child feels included and encouraged. - Represent Snapology:
Build positive relationships with children, families, and school partners while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment. - Prepare & Wrap Up:
Set up program materials before classes and clean up afterward so each learning space is ready for the next group.
As your availability allows, you may also have opportunities to:
- Lead Saturday enrichment programs
- Facilitate birthday parties
- Teach school field trips
- Work camps during school breaks
- Assist with community events and special programs
- Experience working with children in a group or structured setting (teaching certification not required)
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to confidently lead activities after completing training
- Availability for four afternoons/evenings each week
- Reliable transportation to the Snapology center and local partner locations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to successfully complete federal, state, and child abuse background checks
- Dependable, organized, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
