- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years experience OR an associates degree with 13+ years in high-reliability product design and production
- Solid understanding of various electronic circuits, including microcontrollers, RF, power regulation, and analog/digital systems
- Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture (Altium Designer preferred)
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Act as a technical lead for a range of defense-oriented products, managing projects from design through transition to manufacturing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including program management, manufacturing, quality, and procurement
- Develop and refine test plans, procedures, and fixtures for complex assemblies
- Conduct thorough circuit design, simulation, and verification including schematic capture, layout review, and power analysis
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and engineering change assessments
- Engage directly with customers and suppliers, troubleshooting technical issues and providing expert guidance
- Offer mentorship and leadership to testing teams, fostering continuous improvement
- Support compliance with military and industry specifications, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates to enhance engineering workflows
- Participate in research and development initiatives to introduce innovative solutions
