PRN Medication Technician

administers medication, provides direct care, and oversees daily service.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role or specialized training required; one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Current Medical Technician Certification and CPR Certification required.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations.
• Ability to safely use resident‑assistive equipment and medical devices, including wheelchairs, scales, gait belts, mechanical lifts, blood pressure equipment, stethoscopes, thermometers, glucometers, and pulse oximeters.
• Must meet all requirements of the Older Adult Protective Services Act (OAPSA), including successful completion of required criminal background checks, and maintain a drug- and alcohol‑free workplace status.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
