As a Purchasing Coordinator
, you will be responsible for organizing and executing the procurement of materials and services to ensure a continuous supply that meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Your key responsibilities include:
- Executing the MRP process to maintain supply continuity.
- Preparing and administering purchase orders.
- Processing requisitions and placing timely purchase orders for MRO materials.
- Communicating purchase order revisions to requisitioners and approvers.
- Following up on confirmations and expediting requests to meet internal customer needs.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring accuracy in requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Identifying and pursuing cost‑saving opportunities in materials, freight, and services.
- Supporting the Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Buyer/Planners as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards and implementing changes where appropriate.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Promoting and upholding Fenner Precision Polymers’ Values and Behaviors always.
- A high school diploma or GED (required).
- 2–5 years of experience in a business environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A solid understanding of production and inventory flow.
