Ambulatory Services Housekeeper

AMBULATORY SERVICES HOUSEKEEPER (FULL TIME)

Location:

UPMC, 1575 Highlands Drive, Lititz, PA 17543.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Pay: $15.00 per hour. Requirement:
Must have a driver's license and be willing to train.

Performs specialized cleaning duties with the intent of disinfecting ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
• Move chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning and realign items according to recommended layout.
• Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Perform carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste. Perform routine cleaning on general trash and biohazardous waste containers.
• Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items.
• Maintain equipment, tools and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
• Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Driver's license; willing to train.
