Sechan Product Sustainment Manager

The Sechan Product Sustainment (SPS) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all SPS activities to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of the equipment under service. This individual involves ensuring the reliability of equipment, managing budgets, and leading a team of technicians and support professionals. The SPS Manager will also be responsible for vendor management, contract negotiations, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

• Develop and optimize schedules to minimize DoD equipment downtime while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee and manage all SPS activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and modifications within the SPS environment.
• Develop and implement policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Sechan QMS.
• Develop and manage the SPS budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, and support staff to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer support.
• Manage program performance using KPIs, metrics, and status reporting.
• Facilitate meetings, program reviews, and executive status updates.
• Develop and maintain program schedules, milestones budgets, and deliverables.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, cost, quality, and turnaround time.
• Manage strategic planning and operational execution for the SPS department.

• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or related college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required in a manufacturing experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude including ability to read work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

• Production Environment:
  Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
