ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Paint Technician is responsible for application, quality control, and product movement in relation to paint repair.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:- Ability to work independently and take initiative. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task and switch gears easily.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with passion for detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Visual inspection to determine the level of re-coat need, if any.
- Mask/cover product for appropriate paint application
- Wipe down/clean product when needed.
- Daily paint application
- Proper paint disposal, material movement, and working knowledge of product being utilized.
- Use of hand tools, spray equipment, hand rollers, sanders, and hydraulic lift
- Stencil use and proper placement
- Monday through Friday work schedule with weekend hours as required
- Manage time to provide the desired outcome for repair (re-spray, bondo, re-roll)
- Move products in and out of workspace according to the coordinated plan.
