Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or precision machining is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, production orders, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Basic understanding of machining processes, quality standards, and workplace safety practices preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience, including CNC mill setup, machine operation, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate CNC milling machines and work from established programs, work instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
  • Comfortable managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced production environment and willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as needed.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout extended work shifts.
  • Capable of safely lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials, tooling, and finished components.
  • Ability to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment while adhering to all safety requirements.
  • Visual ability to inspect parts, verify measurements, and identify quality issues.
Job Duties
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components that meet production and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate machining operations.
  • Prepare tooling, equipment, and materials for production runs while monitoring tooling condition and machine performance.
  • Adjust machine and tool offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
  • Perform quality inspections, secondary operations, part finishing, and basic preventive maintenance activities.
  • Complete production schedules, record labor and material usage, and support departmental goals for quality, delivery, productivity, and cost control.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support efficient manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
