Lititz – Twilight Program Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Twilight Program in our Luther Acres Healthcare Center is designed to offer flexible scheduling opportunities for individuals seeking four‑hour evening shifts. Participation requires a commitment to the schedule parameters outlined below:

Position/Schedule Commitment

36 hours per bi‑weekly pay period

Every other weekend, every other holiday

7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Includes every other weekend rotation

Includes a designated holiday rotation

This position has no on‑call responsibilities or expectations

WHAT YOU DO

As an LPN at the Luther Acres Healthcare Center, you’re an integral part of providing compassionate care to the residents in our skilled nursing center and ensuring they are comfortable by monitoring their overall health and well‑being. You’ll do this in several ways, including:

Supervise an assigned skilled nursing area. Designate tasks and provide instruction and direction in methods and techniques of nursing and resident care in accordance with established standards and procedures. Ensure that nursing care plans, charts, and treatment schedules are followed by nursing staff. Perform nursing duties following licensure scope of practice.

Administer physician‑ordered pharmacological agents, therapeutic treatments, peripheral IV therapy, and hypodermic injections. Observe, objectively interpret, record and report resident response.

Provide information/updates to nursing staff, supervisors, administration, physicians, and other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of care.

Our LPNs are assisted by Certified Nursing Assistants in providing care to our residents.

Qualifications/Requirements

Current PA Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Current CPR Certification
