The RN Weekend Incentive Program at Luther Acres is designed to compensate a nursing team member for committing to a rigorous regular weekend work schedule by paying a significant incentive rate of $55.00 per hour.

The program requires the individual to commit to two, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours biweekly. This position will be regularly scheduled on weekends for a 12-hour shift. position with current availability for 7a-7p. This position has no-on call responsibilities or expectations.

WHAT YOU DO:

As an RN Supervisor at the Luther Acres Skilled Healthcare center, you're an integral part of providing compassionate care to the residents in our skilled nursing center and ensuring they are comfortable by monitoring their overall health and well-being. Among your responsibilities, you will:

Supervise an assigned skilled nursing area. Designate tasks and provide instruction and direction in methods and techniques of nursing and resident care in accordance with established standards and procedures. Ensure that nursing care plans, charts, and treatment schedules are followed by nursing staff. Perform nursing duties following licensure scope of practice.

Oversee and perform resident assessments and formulate a plan of care based on the MDS/QR assessments, diagnosis, and daily needs.

Provide clinical expertise and oversight in the management of medical emergencies and interventions to treat and prevent further events. Manage resident emergency situations following established protocols, coordination/accessing appropriate healthcare team members and resources, and properly documenting events.

Order and receive medications, treatment supplies, resident care supplies, and nursing station supplies for the assigned area.

Responsible for the coordination of care with physicians, consultants, and other practitioners.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania

Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate

Our RNs and LPNs are assisted by Certified Nursing Assistants in providing care to our residents.
