Job DescriptionLocation:
Lancaster, PA
Schedule:
Mon/Wed/Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm;
Tues 9:00am-6:00pm;
Fri 7:30am-2:00pm;
No weekends or holidays
Summary:
- Provide nursing services to patients in a provider's office. Patient care includes care to patients in the following age groups: pediatric (infant to 12 years), adolescent (13 to 17 years), adult (18 to 64 years), and geriatric (over 64 years). Provide care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the auspices of licensure.
- Deliver direct patient nursing care to patients in a primary or specialty care physician’s office.
- Assist with triage, emergency room, cardiac care, or intensive care related nursing duties as required.
- Perform CPR and Basic Cardiac Life Support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an LPN educational program.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association CPR certification.
- One to Two years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician's office.
- Prior experience in triage, emergency room, cardiac care, intensive care, or other related specialty nursing experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required).
- Licensed Practical Nurse (Required).
- Completion of an LPN educational program.
- One to Two years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician’s office preferred.
- Prior triage, emergency room, cardiac care, intensive care or other related specialty nursing experience preferred.
