As the Assistant Director of Nursing at Luther Acres, you will lead a passionate nursing team in delivering exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include:

  Oversee adherence to federal and state regulations while leading best practices in infection prevention and clinical excellence.

We are seeking a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (BSN) with:

• A minimum of two years’ experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role within long‑term care.
• A passion for working with older adults and a commitment to fostering meaningful relationships within the care environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and the ability to guide and support a dynamic nursing team.

• Current PA Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification

• Two (2) years Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in long term care health services.
• Ability to build trusting, supportive relationships with residents while fostering a warm, respectful, and therapeutic environment that promotes their wellbeing and dignity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal/state regulations governing nursing services and medical record standards.
• Ability to lift and turn residents with a maximum of 50 lbs. effort and perform the functions required to push residents in wheelchairs.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft and the ability to utilize electronic health record processes.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Fit testing as needed per Luthercare’s Respiratory Prevention Program.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Five (5) years of experience in risk management and nursing supervision.
• Point Click Care Experience
• Current Infection Prevention Certification
