Assistant Director of Nursing
As the Assistant Director of Nursing at Luther Acres, you will lead a passionate nursing team in delivering exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include:

We are seeking a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (BSN) with:
- A minimum of two years’ experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role within long‑term care.
- A passion for working with older adults and a commitment to fostering meaningful relationships within the care environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and the ability to guide and support a dynamic nursing team.
Required Education & Licensure:
- Current PA Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Two (2) years Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in long term care health services.
- Ability to build trusting, supportive relationships with residents while fostering a warm, respectful, and therapeutic environment that promotes their wellbeing and dignity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal/state regulations governing nursing services and medical record standards.
- Ability to lift and turn residents with a maximum of 50 lbs. effort and perform the functions required to push residents in wheelchairs.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft and the ability to utilize electronic health record processes.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Fit testing as needed per Luthercare’s Respiratory Prevention Program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Five (5) years of experience in risk management and nursing supervision.
- Point Click Care Experience
- Current Infection Prevention Certification
