* ** Job Summary*
* Kelly Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate
** Occupational Health Nurse (RN)
** to join a collaborative health and wellness team supporting Kenvue employees. In this role, you will serve as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Health professionals, Employee Assistance Program professionals, wellness specialists, Human Resources, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Site Management.
This position is responsible for providing occupational health services, emergency response support, injury and illness assessment, medical surveillance, preventive health programs, and case management activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support multiple locations and make a meaningful impact on employee health, safety, and well-being.
** Key Responsibilities*
* ** Occupational Health & Clinical Services*
* + Provide occupational health nursing services to employees.
+ Deliver emergency first-aid treatment to employees who become ill or injured at work.
+ Perform nursing assessments for work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.
+ Administer medications and perform minor treatments under physician direction and within scope of practice.
+ Arrange referrals and transportation to external medical providers when appropriate.
+ Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
** Preventive Health & Medical Surveillance*
* + Conduct health evaluations, health screenings, and wellness assessments.
+ Support medical surveillance programs in accordance with company protocols.
+ Perform and coordinate:
+ Audiometric testing
+ Spirometry testing
+ Drug and alcohol screenings
+ Vision screenings
+ Phlebotomy services
+ Nurse physical examinations
+ Administer approved vaccinations, including:
+ Tetanus
+ MMR
+ Influenza
+ Hepatitis B
+ Tuberculosis-related testing as applicable
+ Support employee travel health requirements and vaccination credentialing.
** Employee Health & Wellness*
* + Promote employee wellness programs and well-being resources.
+ Provide health education, coaching, and guidance to employees.
+ Make appropriate internal and external referrals when needed.
+ Advise and support first-aid responders and site personnel on health-related matters.
** Case Management & Compliance*
* + Assist with Workers' Compensation and medical leave processes.
+ Provide telephonic and electronic support related to medical surveillance programs.
+ Support case management activities for short-term absences.
+ Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records within EMR systems.
+ Ensure compliance with nursing standards, company policies, OSHA guidelines, state nursing regulations, and medical protocols.
** Operational Support*
* + Maintain clinical equipment and ensure occupational health facilities remain organized and compliant.
+ Participate in program evaluations, audits, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Human Resources, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Site Leadership.
+ Attend continuing education programs and maintain required certifications and licensure.
** Qualifications*
* ** Required*
* + Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
+ Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Health Nursing experience.
+ Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
+ Phlebotomy experience.
+ Spirometry experience related to respiratory surveillance programs.
+ Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong organizational and time management abilities.
+ Ability to travel between nearby sites (approximately 30 minutes apart).
+ Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee health information.
** Preferred*
* + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
+ Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) and/or Case Management.
+ Working knowledge of:
+ OSHA Recordkeeping
+ Workers' Compensation
+ Case Management
+ Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
+ Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
