Data Analyst, Data Scientist
Piper Companies is seeking a Quality Data Specialist to join a leading global healthcare organization on site in Lititz, PA
. The Quality Data Specialist will support quality investigations and CAPAs by gathering, organizing, manipulating, and analyzing operational and quality data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable working with computers and data and can translate information into actionable insights for Quality and Operations teams.
- Gather and organize data related to quality investigations, CAPAs, operational issues, and process performance
. - Partner with Quality and Operations teams to understand investigation status, identify roadblocks, and gather relevant data and documentation.
- Manipulate, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and anomalies
. - Develop and maintain reports, trackers, dashboards, and visualizations to support CAPA and investigation tracking and trending
. - Utilize Excel, Power BI, Qlik, and other data/reporting tools to analyze information and communicate key findings.
- Review data and identify meaningful trends, providing clear insights into what is happening, why it may be happening, and potential actions to address it
. - Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure information is accurate, complete, and reliable.
- Translate complex or large datasets into clear, actionable information for Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to data gathering, reporting, investigations, and CAPAs.
- Work cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and other internal teams to obtain information and resolve data gaps or discrepancies.
- Occasionally work on the manufacturing floor with Operations personnel to understand processes, gather information, and investigate data-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data collection methods, tracking tools, and overall data visibility.
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, quality, operations, business analysis, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
, including the ability to manipulate, organize, analyze, and visualize data. - Experience with Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar data visualization/reporting tools preferred.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of information and identifying trends, patterns, discrepancies, and actionable insights
. - Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and determine relevant data points.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Quality, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, GMP, CAPA, or quality experience is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related field preferred.
Salary Range: $20.00-$25.00/hour
