Moravian Manor Communities, nestled in the charming town of Lititz, PA, is a respected not-for-profit senior living community with a 50-year tradition of serving older adults. We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician II to join our dedicated team.

This role provides consistent daytime hours and long-term stability within a supportive healthcare environment, where your expertise plays a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of our residents. Candidates must be available for a scheduled weekly on-call rotation, reside within 20 miles of the facility, and maintain a working telephone at their residence.

What will I do in the role of a Maintenance Technician II?

• Completes or assists in the routine maintenance, troubleshooting and general repair of facility wide buildings, building equipment and related systems including Plumbing, Sprinkler, HVAC and Electrical, as dictated by Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance schedules, and provides detailed information relative to work performed.
• Performs General Carpentry related building construction, remodeling and repairs
• Completes resident move-in orientation relative to use of cottage/apartment equipment, appliances, trash, fire safety, etc.
• Performs fire alarm system and door security system monitoring and general troubleshooting including testing, silencing alarms, resetting system etc. as directed
• Assist with grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed

What do I need in the role of Maintenance Technician II?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge and proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and painting
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Ability to take and read measurements, determine temperatures, time, and weight
• Ability to perceive detail in blueprints and check for accuracy; read and understand work orders or receive oral instructions
• Must be able to lift up and carry up to 25 pounds consistently throughout an eight-hour shift
