Electrical Journeyman

Cool Sys is seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our Skilled Labor team in the construction industry. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems supporting commercial and industrial HVACR equipment. You'll interpret blueprints, ensure NEC code compliance, and integrate electrical components for sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. Working in the field, you'll partner with HVACR technicians on dynamic client projects, prioritize safety, and deliver reliable, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for commercial and industrial HVACR projects
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and perform timely repairs
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure code-compliant installations
• Collaborate with HVACR technicians to integrate electrical components for energy-efficient systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability and safety
• Follow NEC, NFPA, and company safety standards, including proper Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Document work performed, materials used, and communicate status to supervisors and clients
• Support and mentor junior team members, promoting a safe and inclusive work culture
