Job Overview
Primoris Gas Operations, which includes companies such as Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson and Pipe jacking Trenchless, has over 60 years of experience in the natural gas distribution industry. This onsite office position located in Little Canada, MN, focuses on providing a safe environment, quality workmanship, and exceptional value to our customers.
Primary Responsibilities- Attend customer pre‑bid meetings and occasionally visit job sites.
- Review bid documents for critical cost drivers.
- Develop questions and submit to customers on bid package on each bid.
- Prepare bid pricing, schedule, and submittal documents for various business units.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with other Estimators and Operations personnel.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the Estimating Team.
- Maintain and protect confidential information.
- Advance multiple projects simultaneously toward completion.
- Solicit material and subcontractor quotes.
- Meet milestones and deadlines.
- Review and analyze large data sets to establish trends and patterns.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction estimating preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Experience with Bid2
Win software is preferred. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Excellent communication skills (written & spoken).
- Detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
- Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and mediation skills.
- Self‑motivated, self‑learner, capable of working autonomously.
- Works well under pressure, responds appropriately to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
- General understanding of Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus and Unit contract pricing mechanisms.

$60,000-$125,000/year (Compensation will depend on qualifications and experience.) Relocation is not available for this position.
