Our client, a leader in healthcare and medical device innovation, is seeking a Database Architect to join their team. As a Database Architect, you will be part of the Data Management and R&D Support department supporting clinical, imaging, and mapping data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Database Architect
Location: St. Paul, MN (100% On-Site)
Duration: 12+ Month contract with possibility of extension
Pay Range:$64/hr.
- $69/hr.
What's the Job?
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture supporting clinical and imaging datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data standards, metadata, and common data models.
- Partner with IT and cloud teams to enhance data infrastructure leveraging platforms like Azure and Databricks.
- Manage data ingestion, transfer, validation, and lifecycle activities to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Support data governance, compliance, and quality initiatives to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing large and diverse datasets, including clinical or imaging data.
- Proven experience with data governance, cataloging, and quality management processes.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
