Job Overview

Primoris Gas Operations, which includes Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson and Pipe jacking Trenchless, has over 60 years of experience in the natural gas distribution industry. This position is for a GAS METER TECHNICIAN in Minnesota and Wisconsin, responsible for troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with safety standards, providing customer consultations, and generating detailed service field reports.

• Travel within Minnesota and Wisconsin
• Diagnose and troubleshoot gas system issues
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety protocols
• Provide customer consultations on gas-related matters
• Generate detailed and accurate service field reports
• Conduct inspections of gas systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate with utility company personnel and contractors to maintain service quality and safety standards
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems to maintain high satisfaction

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Willingness to use basic mobile apps for task completion
• Willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety regulations
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel
• Clear and polite communication with customers during service visits
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in heat, cold, wind, and rain

Compensation: $30.04 per hour.
