Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Compensation: $24-$28/hour, based on experience

Tri-State Bobcat is looking for a Parts Specialist to join our Little Canada team. You'll work directly with customers and service technicians while supporting a wide range of equipment and parts, including Bobcat, Toro, STIHL, and other leading brands.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our service department moving by getting the right parts to the right people at the right time while providing excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do- Help customers by phone, text, and in person identify and purchase parts, accessories, and supplies
- Work with service technicians to identify, source, order, and allocate parts to keep repairs on schedule
- Research parts using computer systems, catalogs, and manufacturer/vendor resources
- Receive, verify, organize, stock, and allocate parts to inventory, customers, and service jobs
- Monitor inventory and identify parts that need to be reordered
- Assist customers with Toro and STIHL product selection, accessories, features, and basic operation
- Recommend related parts, accessories, and products based on customer needs
We’re looking for someone who is curious, organized, mechanically minded, and comfortable working with people.
You don’t need previous parts-department experience. Experience in equipment, automotive, small engine, powersports, agriculture, construction, or a related industry is valuable.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning about equipment and parts
- Related industry experience preferred
- Ability to research and identify parts using computer systems and online resources
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and able to follow through in a fast-paced environment
