Title: Software Verification Engineer II
Location: St. Paul, MN (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Shift Time: 8am to 5pm
Pay Range: $50/hr to $53/hr (On W2)
We are looking for a Software System Engineer to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
Job Summary: This position works out of our Tech Center in St. Paul, MN in the EP division. In Electrophysiology (EP) business, we re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. We are looking for a forward-thinking Software Systems Engineer to join our team focused on advancing cardiac electrophysiology through the Ensite X EP System technologies.
This role is central to exploring new technologies and workflows that support clinicians and researchers in understanding and treating cardiac arrhythmias. The ideal candidate will help in testing new software versions, creating test and analysis tools, and analyzing and reporting out data sets.
- Computer Science Experience
- Python
- Linux based systems
- Open to recent grads, prefer on the job experience such as intern role or paid position in a similar role.
- Test software prototypes that support cardiac electrophysiology workflows through hands on and emulated testing.
- Create and run testing scripts to analyze software performance.
- Create testing scripts and emulators to automate and make team testing more efficient
- Collaborate with team members to design and document test workflows.
- Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Preferred in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 0-2+ years of experience in related job/field
- Experience coding with Python, C++, or equivalent
- Experience with Linux based environments
- Experience with Matlab and Excel for processing/displaying data
- Experience with Pandas & Num Py for processing data (nice to have)
- Experience with testing software/hardware systems (preferred)
- Medical Device Company experience (preferred)
- Ability to work with cross-functional team and interact with customers
- Some knowledge of cardiac anatomy/physiology (preferred)
- Be innovative, resourceful, and work with minimal direction
- Have excellent organization, problem solving, communication, and team leadership skills
- Have ability to multitask, prioritize their work and make data driven decisions
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams
