Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and driven Assistant Project Manager to help deliver high-quality projects throughout Northeast and Northcentral Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction management while working alongside experienced project managers, field crews, and customers in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and executing projects
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Communicate with customers, contractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project success
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress
- Assist with project documentation, inspections, quality control, and closeout activities
- Help ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety standards
- Promote Forward Traffic & Marking’s commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- High school graduate or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry (traffic control, pavement marking, or roadway construction experience is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to reliably report to our Little Chute, WI location and travel to project sites as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn construction management software
- Highly organized with strong communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with field and office teams
