* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Conduct all hands-on and classroom training for new hires and make ups.
* Oversee and manage training checklists for employee being trained.
* Learn to carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
* Assisting in the production process and learning various tasks.
* Assist with document control.
* Data entry.
* Fully trained in all departments.##

Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Maintain a clean work place, free of safety hazards.
* Use proper personal protective equipment at all times.
* Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
* Safety Protocol  + Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.  + Correct or report any observed safety hazards.  + Support safety policies and programs.

* Education Required:

*** High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
** Experience

Required:

*** Previous work experience in a food safety/manufacturing environment preferred.
* Training experience preferred.

*** Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
* Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
* Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.

*** Our Little Chute, WI, plant is home to about 140 employees. This facility is a top manufacturer of IQF sticks that are supplied to the appetizer industry. Next to the plant is our well-known Simon’s Specialty Cheese store, which has about 20 employees. Simon’s is a Wisconsin-themed store, with everything from meats and cheese to clothing and craft spirits.
