Processing Production Worker - M-F, 2nd Shift

Job Overview

Processing Production Worker – 5 days a week, 8‑hour 2nd shift (2:30 pm–10:30 pm). Pay starting at $22.92 per hour.

Location:

Little Chute, WI.

Responsible for preparing ingredients, inspecting cheese, and ensuring proper batching in accordance with formulas. Assists with additional tasks in the processing department.

• General Duties
  • Consistently follow all standard operating procedures, ensuring appropriate machine settings, reporting issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Meet established KPIs.
  • Accurately complete production paperwork, weights, measures, and reporting.
  • Identify issues, problems, and opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Apply technical skills and procedures to perform complex tasks in the area of expertise.
  • Assist in various areas of the processing department.
  • Remove adulterated cheese such as mold or mush to protect finished product.
  • Maintain proper batching per formula.
  • Inspect raw cheese for quality as required for batching.
  • Properly rotate and use all raw cheese and trim.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials as necessary.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety procedures.
  • Maintain a sanitary and safe work area; perform housekeeping duties as required.
  • Detect hazardous conditions and report or correct them promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous work experience in a food manufacturing facility (preferred).
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Accurately perform all duties with a sense of urgency.

Hourly position represented by Teamsters Local Union 662. Standard operating hours Monday‑Friday, 1st shift 5:30 am – 2:30 pm, 2nd shift 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Overtime may be required (Saturdays) with regular Sunday overtime for Sanitation department.
