Quality Inspection Technician (QIT)

Quality Technician responsible for sustaining a safe work environment while supporting implementation of Excellerate Quality plans throughout the manufacturing process. Works under oversight of a Quality Manager or Engineer and coordinates with Excellerate Leadership.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience:

    0-3 years of quality management experience
  • Travel: 0-10%
  • Work Schedule:

    Monday through Friday, 6 am – 6 pm (overtime may be required)
Key Responsibilities
  • Review quality metrics to drive continuous improvement in processes and products.
  • Conduct scheduled internal audits to monitor the health of the Quality Management System.
  • Demonstrate and ensure all employees follow company safety policies.
  • Measure and report performance against key safety, quality, and production metrics.
  • Collaborate with Value Stream Leaders to define and implement quality requirements, plans, checklists, and other deliverables.
  • Provide inspection-related reports and support materials as required.
  • Ensure proper utilization of the Non‑Conforming Material (NCM) process, including tagging, logging, and quarantine of NCM materials.
  • Update the Excellerate Quality team on the status of any quality issues discovered.
  • Collect quality data in manufacturing (inspection results, checklists, torque values, pictures, certifications, etc.).
  • Support the CAPA Process (Corrective and Preventive Action).
  • Collaborate with Excellerate Leadership and quality teams at other facilities to implement standardized quality tools consistently across all locations.
  • Assist with quality training as needed.
  • Provide performance evaluation feedback and maintain effective employee relations.
  • Actively participate in implementation of improvement projects.
  • Follow mandatory quality procedures, including Non‑Conforming Material and CAPA processes.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
