The Journeyman Lead performs the installation and repair of complex electrical systems, conductors and associated materials in related projects. The position frequently oversees less experienced electricians, provides training for apprentices in the trade, and ensures all work is performed to the highest standards and meets all safety requirements.
- Rate of pay: $40.74
- Third Shift Schedule (10pm-6am, Sunday - Thursday)

- Maintain, inspect, and modify electrical equipment, technologies and processes.
- Lead plant projects and act as point of contact for contractors as delegated by the maintenance manager.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance of electrical circuits.
- Install new electrical circuits.
- Bend and install electrical conduit following all appropriate local and national codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors and equipment controls.
- Help plant production personnel troubleshoot electrical-related production problems.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Understand and comply with NEC electrical standards and codes.
- Read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
- Provide coverage for maintenance manager when on vacation or otherwise unavailable.
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Safety protocol
- Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
- Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
- Support safety policies and programs.

What You Need to Join Our Team Education Required- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Coursework in the Electrical trade required.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in the electrical trade required.
- Experience reading and understanding electrical prints and troubleshooting electrical circuits required.
- Experience with three phase motors, transformers, and control circuits required.
- State Master's Electrician or Journeyman's Electrician license required.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with executives, managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Make decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
- Work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
- Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
- Basic math including fractions, decimals, percentages, and algebraic calculations.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software.
- Follow written, verbal, and/or diagrammatic instructions; solve practical problems; interpret written instructions; logical thinking to solve problems including abstract and concrete variables; comprehend complex concepts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
- Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and maintain constructive working relationships.
