Job Title: STEAM Camp Student Worker
Reports to: Camp Director
Dept.: Curriculum & Learning
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Primary
Purpose:
To assist the camp director and camp instructors in the successful planning and implementation of STEAM curriculum and activities, while maintaining a safe environment that is conducive for learning.
- Student must be currently enrolled in Little Elm High School
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have transportation to the job site
- Must have no discipline issues
- Assist teachers with the execution, management, and clean-up of camp activities.
- Arrive to work on time and stay until the agreed upon shift is over.
- If participating in lunch duty, must assist in monitoring students in the orderly process of lunch.
- Follow directions given by the teacher and work collaboratively with the teacher to ensure a positive camp experience for campers.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsTools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; may stand for extended periods
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Environment: May work outside for short periods of time;
May work prolonged or irregular hours;
Work must be performed on site.
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress
