Position: Temporary Worker, Athletic Game Day Pool (2025-2026)
Job Title: Athletic Game Day Worker

Primary Purpose:

Game day workers assist in setup, operation, and tear down of athletic events during the sports seasons.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Punctuality and attention to detail are critical components of employment.
• Duties may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working in extremely warm or cold elements outdoors.
• Schedule flexibility - Hours vary depending upon scheduled contest.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Setup of field or court for games.
• Provide assistance during contest in areas such as concessions, ticket operations, and sport specific activities (e.g., ball shagging, equipment operations).
• Workers are required to assist with post-game tear down, clean up and securing of equipment.
• Assistance may also be required for athletic or institutional event specific activities before, during, or immediately following contests.
