Music Center Teacher

Overview

St. Francis Music Center, Little Falls, MN, is looking to contract with a music teacher for one-on-one instrumental or voice lessons with students. We currently have studio space open on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon and evenings. A degree in music and teaching experience is preferred. Starting pay is based on experience and education. Teachers are independent contractors.

• Provide one-on-one instrumental or voice lessons to students.
• Schedule lessons in available studio space on Tuesdays and Thursdays (afternoon/evening).
• Maintain professional conduct and communication with families and staff as an independent contractor.

• Degree in music preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

A ministry of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, St. Francis Music Center opened its doors in the Fall of 1979 with four teachers offering private and group lessons in piano, strings, winds, and dance. The Music Center now has a staff of 15 professional teachers.

St. Francis Music Center offers one-on-one music lessons for all ages on a variety of instruments, including piano, string orchestra instruments, guitar, ukulele, percussion, band instruments, and more. Students are also welcome to take lessons in music theory, sound recording, and music composition. Our creative teachers are here to help students achieve their goals!

St. Francis Music Center is a Sally Ordway Irvine Award winning community music school for the performing arts located in central Minnesota. The Music Center also received the 2019 Outstanding Arts Organization from the Five Wings Art Council.
