Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
We’re looking for a Revenue Analyst to provide the Company’s business leaders with pro-active financial and operational information and analysis to support decision‑making and continuous improvement. This person will be expected to execute all aspects of our revenue cycle, including percentage of completion revenue recognition and accounts receivable management and analytics. They must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting at all levels of management.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Complete revenue accrual entries under percentage of completion principles using contract estimates
- Work closely with leadership team to understand market and industry trends, as well as specific dynamics impacting the business
- Coordinate and review customer credit approvals and setting up new customers in Sage Intacct
- Dun & Bradstreet company contact
- Manage and oversee income from all business activities, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Application and analysis of accounts receivable and supporting collection efforts, including weekly review of open AR
- Collaborate with FP&A to analyze forecasted revenue and maintain revenue schedules
- Month‑End journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue and accounts receivable
- Support sales and operations teams by providing job specific information
- Support other month‑end activities, audit requirements and external reporting
- Keep abreast of technology and identify tools that can help streamline workflow
- Provide support for M&A activity as needed
- Assume other duties as assigned
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required
- 2+ years’ experience in finance and business industry
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial processes
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision‑making skills, demonstrating a capacity for managing multiple priorities and driving project success
- Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the continental USA, reflecting flexibility and commitment to project needs
- Experience in a services business preferred
- Ability to pass a stringent drug screening and background check, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies
- Hold a valid and current driver’s license
