Whata Day Feels Like
As a Maintenance Fabricator, you’ll conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and address equipment issues to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate closely with team members, report on maintenance tasks, and participate in innovative problem‑solving. Your schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Knowledge and Required Skills- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience cutting, fitting, and assembling metal components, including use of plasma cutters or oxy‑acetylene torches.
- Expert knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and gauges to check tolerances.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, grinders, mixers, mills, elevators, and packaging systems.
- Daily checks of motors, bearings, chains, and belts on conveyors.
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and perform timely repairs.
- Maintain facility systems including boilers, compressors, HVAC, and utilities as required.
- Assist with installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
- Work closely with production teams to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Electrical knowledge including single‑phase 120 V, three‑phase 480 V, and 24 VDC power systems.

Organizational skills to manage tasks within the set schedule and a commitment to safety, integrity, and high performance are essential.
