Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records using our Inventory Management System (PLEX). Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical audits.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) Kitting: Review upcoming maintenance schedules to proactively assemble "PM Kits." Ensure all necessary filters, belts, gaskets, and consumables are bagged, tagged, and staged for technicians before the scheduled downtime.
- Procurement: Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders. Negotiate with vendors for better pricing, lead times, and quality.
- Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify accuracy against packing slips.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, logical, and safe parts room & cabinets. Label bins and optimize the floor plan for "first-in, first-out" (FIFO) efficiency.
- Technical Support: Assist technicians in verifying Bill of Materials (BOM) for specific jobs to ensure the right parts are pulled.
- High School diploma required, additional schooling preferred.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
- 2-3 years inventory experience required.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work with various computer programs including work order system and Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Teams.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
