Machinist

Read detailed prints and shop routing instructions
Read and understand the measurement values for a tape measure to the 1/32" increment and be able to read a caliper to the .001" increment
Change tools based on machine configuration and print requirements
Adjust and operate numerically controlled machining tools and equipment to perform a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work through close tolerances and finish specifications
Ability to use both manual and numerical control machine tool operations
Perform set ups and run complex components with no assistance
Work with drawings and prints to setup machine instructions and required tooling, fixturing and clamping methods, machine calibrations and contouring
Program controls to X, Y, and Z positions based on print requirements

• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and/or quality system
• Authority as determined by Management for final disposition of product
• Participate as required in quality audits and in developing quality plans
• Carry out tasks in a safe manner in accordance with known and/or published safety policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Effect any change(s) necessary to control and maintain the Falls Fabricating LLC, ISO-9001:2015 Quality System
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions as necessary to support ISO-9001:2015 registration/certification
• Stop production if any process adversely affects product quality

Manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary for position

Constant standing and walking required
Regularly required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach
Regularly required to lift and move materials
