THE OPPORTUNITY
Under the direction of the Screen print Lead and Trainer, this position supports the Machine Operator by helping to prepare the machine for screen print decoration, pulling garments to place on dryer, and necessary machine clean-up & prep for the next order.
Each day is full of bright colors, fun products and new artwork for our fantastic customers from sea to shining sea, so you're not seeing the same order twice!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Wage: $16/hr
A Typical Day (job functions) | Bring Art to Life on Garments through Screen printing- Job set-up & teardown at operational automatic screen print presses
- Removal of and cleaning of screens, squeegees and flood bars
- Replacing machine with new screens and new ink for each order
- Return inks to their correct storage location, notifying in mixing of needed inks
- Provide and support machine operator as needed
- Identify and clean all equipment after press use Follow safety practices; identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
- Work actively with others to get the job done
- Other responsibilities as directed (contributing to our core value of TEAM)
- High school education desirable, but not required
- Previous production experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work well in a team
- Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
- Perform repetitive tasks for several hours
- Stand 8-10 hours a day
