• Minimum 2 years Critical Access ED experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Strong practical and critical thinking skills required
• Ability to function without heavy reliance on ancillary support

• Level IV Trauma & Stroke Ready Designation
• Beds: 10 ED beds + 2 trauma bays
• Patient Volume: 25–30 patients per day
• Patient Population:
  Newborn to Geriatric
• Respiratory
• Cardiac
• Trauma
• Stroke

• Norepinephrine
• Nitroglycerin
• Heparin
• Amiodarone
• Propofol

• Triage patients (separate triage room available)
• Manage seclusion/psych safety situations (1 locked seclusion room)
• Initiate and assist with transport (including stroke CT activations)
• Draw labs (RN + phlebotomy support)
• Read telemetry strips (Phillips monitors)

• Provider Coverage: 1 MD/DO/PA in-house 24/7
• CNA/Tech: 1400–2230 shift
• VS
• EKGs
• Room prep/stocking
• Splinting if trained
• RT:
  Daytime in-house, Night on-call
• Performs EKGs, ABGs, respiratory treatments, ventilator/BiPAP support

• No in-house security
• Staff expected to use de-escalation skills and local PD if needed

• 12-hour shifts (7a–7p / 7p–7a)
• 6-week scheduling blocks
• Rotating days and nights (no back-to-back day → night shifts)
• No self or block scheduling
• Weekend & Holiday Requirements:
  Every other weekend, Every other holiday
• Call:
  No call or standby
• Floating:
  No floating required

• Until competency achieved (maximum 4 shifts)

• Professional appearance (no specific scrub color)
• Must submit RTO upfront (no additional RTO allowed after submission)
• Radius & Employment Restriction
  • 50-mile radius rule
  • Cannot be FT/PT/PRN with any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year
