As the Licensed Practical Nurse you will be providing work direction to Nursing Aides, passing medications, and providing care typically done by an LPN at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Qualifications:

  • Have and maintain current licensure as a MN Licensed Practical Nurse and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as doctor’s orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read and/or write routine reports, correspondence, and resident documentation

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Must understand and communicate with specialized medical terminology
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changing situations and be able to organize work efficiently
  • Must be compassionate toward the elderly, and work with tact and ethical awareness
  • Must maintain resident’s confidentiality
