BLS required; ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS required - Patient Ratio:
Approximately 1:3, depending on acuity - Patient Population:
Newborn through geriatric - Trauma:
Level IV Trauma & Stroke Ready - Department: 10 beds + 2 trauma bays
- Patient Volume:
Approximately 25–30 patients/day - Required Skills:
Independent practice, strong clinical skills, triage competency, quick learner and team-oriented - Triage:
Separate triage room; travelers must be competent in triage - Common Cases:
Respiratory, cardiac, trauma and stroke - Common Drips:
Norepinephrine, nitro, heparin, amiodarone and propofol - Respiratory:
Vents, CPAP, BiPAP & high-flow; RN must be able to initiate equipment with RT assistance - Telemetry:
Phillips; RN must read and interpret strips - Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 AM–7 PM / 7 PM–7 AM

Candidate cannot currently be or have been within the past year a full-time, part-time, or PRN employee at an associated Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity facility.
