Produce Clerk

Overview

The Produce Clerk stocks shelves and builds displays, rotates product as needed, and ensures the department is fully stocked with fresh, appealing produce. Duties include receiving and inspecting product for quality and freshness, stocking, cleaning the department and equipment, engaging guests with fresh product samples, and promoting a friendly, welcoming atmosphere while adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Stock shelves and build displays in the produce department.
• Cull and rotate product to maintain quality and freshness.
• Receive, inspect for quality and freshness, and stock product.
• Clean the department and equipment; maintain a sanitary work area.
• Engage guests through samples and suggestive selling to enhance guest experience.
• Create a fun, friendly atmosphere and assist guests with their needs.
• Understand and follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
