Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm
Pay: $17/hr
Essential Job Functions- Receives orders and determines pick-up or ship status
- Upon checking for special needs, determines methods of shipping (Air, COD, UPS, PP, RPS, Fed-Ex)
- Labels boxes with PO's or packing slips, and groups designs if necessary for minimums
- Enters orders in computer, records tracking numbers and applies UPS labels
- Invoices orders
- Tapes boxes
- Delivers final shipments to the UPS office if necessary to meet deadlines
- Loads pick-up orders for the customers
- Reads and understands work orders
- Prepares and schedules LTL shipments
- Generates customs invoices for international shipments
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Organizes work flow
- Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and resolves safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
- Works actively with others to get the job done
- Other duties as assigned
- High school education required
- Valid driver's license required
- Computer experience required (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work well in a team
- Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
- Must be able to lift over 25 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
- Previous shipping experience preferred, but not required
