Bell & Associates has been engaged by our expanding Commercial Construction client to find their next Assistant Controller. This dynamic organization can offer excellent opportunities for career growth within a true team environment.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for management. They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance within the organization. The Assistant Controller is a critical member of the accounting team and will work closely with the Corporate Controller and Management Team and will play a critical role in overseeing daily accounting operations in a growth-oriented environment

- ons Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requi
- red.
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction indu - stry Proven ability to manage and develop accounting teams through periods of growth and expan
- sion Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal contr
- ols.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and reporting to - ols.
Track record of driving process improvement, automation, or accounting system enhancement initi - ves.
Experience interfacing with external auditors and senior leadership on financial reporting mat
