Billing Specialist

Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a growing Engineering firm based in Little Rock, is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join their accounting and operations team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, project-driven environment supporting multiple ongoing engineering and construction projects.

• Prepare, review, and process detailed client invoices in Quick Books with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage complex billing structures including time & materials, progress billings, contract retainage, and project-based adjustments.
• Coordinate with project managers and accounting staff to ensure billing data reflects current project milestones and scopes of work.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies, research variances, and ensure alignment between project budgets and invoicing.
• Maintain organized digital billing records and support monthly closing activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams to resolve billing questions or clarifications.
• Assist in process improvement to increase billing efficiency and ensure compliance with company and client requirements.

• 3+ years of billing experience in an engineering, architecture, or construction-related firm (preferred).
• Proficiency in Quick Books and familiarity with advanced billing and reconciliation functions.
• Strong understanding of high-volume and complex billing cycles

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  
  Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
