We are seeking a friendly and cheerful individual with payroll experience that enjoys speaking with and helping clients. In this role, you will assist companies of all sizes manage their most important asset - their people. You will work in a fast-paced, fun office, processing and managing changes for multiple payroll accounts while also providing support for the robust software.
You will work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals in a deadline driven environment, demonstrating accuracy and customer care, in order to make clients feel supported and taken care of.
Responsibilities and requirements for a payroll specialist role at Complete Payroll Services, including processing payroll, supporting clients, and using our HCM software.
Duties and Responsibilities- Accurately process payroll with a mix of data entry, proofing, and software support
- Manage workflow and deadlines to ensure all payrolls are processed
- Understand all aspects of our HCM software and provide support to clients
- Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies
- Use payroll compliance knowledge to safeguard clients
- Update client accounts as directed by authorized contacts
- Enter Year-end adjustments to ensure accurate W2 reporting
- Respond to all phone calls and emails from clients with a helpful attitude
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times
Education and Experience:
- Proficient experience with computer software such as Excel, Word, Outlook required. Experience using a 10-key is preferred.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum two years customer service experience.
- Minimum of one year working in an office environment.
- Two years of payroll or HCM experience preferred.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication and diplomatic skills, as well as good mathematical and analytical abilities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Strong concentration to analyze and solve problems; attention to detail; ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Position works in an open office environment, with close collaboration with team members. Little or no travel is required.
