SVP - Corporate Controller for a Private Equity Group in Little Rock.
This Accounting Leader will oversee all corporate‑level accounting, lead a team of Plant Controllers and corporate accountants, and ensure robust financial reporting and controls across a $100M+ multi‑site manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as SME and leader to all accounting functions
- Lead all accounting operations at the corporate level, consolidating financials across multiple manufacturing plants and portfolio entities
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants at each plant and corporate level, fostering a culture of accuracy, compliance, and process improvement
- Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate consolidated financial statements following US GAAP
- Establish and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices across the organization
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic decisions, and drive cost‑saving initiatives
- Lead or support accounting automation, process optimization, and system upgrades to improve efficiency and reporting timelines
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and audit requirements; liaise with external auditors and advisors
- Support M&A, integration, and other corporate transactions as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / MBA preferred
- CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Manufacturing experience required / Multi‑site experience highly preferred
- Private Equity exposure in manufacturing is highly preferred
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting for complex organizations
- Proven experience managing distributed teams and leading cross‑site accounting functions
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills; ability to partner with both plant operations and executive leadership
- Experience with accounting process automation and system implementations a plus
