Controller Opportunity

A respected Arkansas nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Controller to provide leadership across accounting, financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and internal controls. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $92,500 and includes exceptional insurance benefits, strong retirement offerings, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting operations
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, audit support, and regulatory reporting
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and process improvement initiatives
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations
• Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and financial reporting functions
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
