We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role involves managing key financial activities and ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

The salary range will be $60,000 - $70,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits at this well-established and respected company!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage sales tax filings and address any related inquiries.
• Record and reconcile journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are balanced and properly documented.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting practices to ensure compliance.
• Generate financial reports and provide analysis to support strategic planning.
